Borneo Kodo Kit (Running Low)
Native to the Island of Borneo - a collection of three to teach the history of the 3rd largest Island in the World. A collection of senses - hailing from the North (Malaysia), just outside the Sovereign State of Brunei runs the Baram River which twists and turns along its route into the heart of the Island and into the Kayan Mentarang National Park.
Kalimantan represents the lower portion of this Tropical place and belongs to Indonesia. North Kalimantan wood is very special - as it combines the Spice of it's proximity to Brunei with the Condensed Milk of Malinau. The result is an almost chocolate condensed milk full of various spices including cinnamon and it is actually one of my all time favorites.
The Borneo Kodo Kit is the first of its kind and includes 1 gram each;
Borneo Heartwood - Harvested Decades ago South of Brunei from a tree where Borneo 'Kinam' was also found - The top notes consist of a Green - menthol spice, which transforms into rolled tobacco and dried fruit as the heat increases and finally a sweet incense aroma that is just so very pleasant.
Royal Baram - A large fissure runs the length of this one - this piece contains two equally delicious scent profiles. The back of it is made up of a lighter wood that hasn't been petrified in oil/resin like the reverse. This lighter wood showcases the kinamic undertones that are called out in the scent profile. The Top notes consist of effervescent green pea mint (similar to B50K) with medicinal but sweet / fruity Kinam undertones.
Kalimantan Black - Vintage Tigerswood fully resonated, harvested in Northern Kalimantan. Top Notes include vibrant, sweet, vanillic chocolate condensed milk which seems to go on forever before a beautiful spicy incense fills the room as the Subitism begins to glow.
For those of you who weren't able to read through my Bio - I am offering limited / sampling quantities of Aloeswood that I've accumulated over the past couple of years. This wood is genuinely one of a kind and irreplaceable. I believe that burning superior wood provides a better overall experience fostering a higher level of satisfaction. Typically the barriers of entry to such woods are quite high and my pricing is very fair - I try to keep things as close to my cost as possible with a small handling fee for cutting and packaging. Each time I release a new Kit, it may or may not contain the same offerings as before, my goal and mission is to provide variety of only the highest quality aromatics without compromise.
This is a nice kit of borneo woods. High quality wood. The baram has that hit of floral that will make you crave more like your life depends on it.
